The Taylor Made 12-foot standard mooring whip is designed for boats 18 to 23-feet in length and available now at Boatersland Discount Marine Supplies. This mooring whip, product number TAYMW120, is designed for boats between 2,500 pounds and 5,000 pounds. The fixed angle base on this model has a 60-degree angle, and common uses for this mooring whip are bass boats, ski boats center consoles and runabouts.
This mooring whip system comes complete with all of the hardware necessary for installation. In addition, this system is sold in pairs.
Tayor Made’s mooring whips include solid fiberglass poles and base units, tips and mooring whip lines made from aluminum-magnesium. The tips are designed to allow your boat to easily drift toward the dock when you want to board. Boarding the boat is easy when the whips are in use. All you have to do is unfasten one of the whip lines from the whip cleat. This releases the whip pressure, which in turn causes the pole to retract upward. This causes the boat to return to the dock.
