Shipping and Sales Tax

Your order will normally be shipped via UPS Ground Service the next business day. (More information below, in the FAQ).

We are required to charge sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses in Ohio, US.
Additionally items shipping to: California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi and Tennessee from a warehouse in those states will be charged sales tax.


The material contained on this web site is checked for accuracy and is presented without any warranties, either expressed or implied. Boatersland assumes no responsibility for any errors or omissions of this web site's content. Boatersland shall not be responsible for any damages incurred as a result of the content or use of this web site.

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on our Web site may be mispriced. As part of our shipping procedures, we verify price before an item is shipped out.
•    If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
•    If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price we contact you with an option to pay the higher price or cancel the order.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What if I want to return something

No Restocking Fees!!! As long as the item is returned in NEW condition you will NOT be charged a restocking fee. Excludes special order items and Taylor Made covers which may incur a 15% to 20% charge.

Your Satisfaction is our top priority! We understand that sometimes you just aren't happy with something you purchase, whether in a physical store or online. You can return any item for any reason for a refund within 10 days of receipt. Returns must be in salable condition, with ALL original materials and packing and require a Return Authorization Number. Items that are packaged in blister packs that have been opened are not returnable. You are responsible for return shipping and any shipping charges are not refundable except in the case of defective merchandise. (Please note...we do NOT resell returned merchandise here on our web site). Special order items, Software, Charts, Marine Heads, Carpet, Cell Amps, Closeout Items and Inflatable Boats are not returnable.

Some products being they are multiple components are not returnable as defective as a whole and need to be trouble shot by the factories warranty department to determine a course of action. Contact us with specific questions.

Do you sell current products?

The products we sell are always the newest models and latest updates. We update our site with the latest products as they become available from the manufacturer.

How much will shipping cost?

Shipping costs are based on the costs charged to us by the manufacturer (shipping & handling) to deliver the product directly to you from their warehouse. All products are shipped via UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Saver or UPS Worldwide. 

Follow these steps to see the actual shipping charge:

  • Place the item(s) in your cart with the "Buy-Me" button
  • Click "checkout"
  • Enter your shipping address and click "Continue"

You will see the shipping charge and total before being asked for credit card information. You then have the option of completing your order or canceling it.

Do you ship International?

Yes, we can ship international. Select UPS International Express (2 business days) or International Expedited (2-5 business days) as the shipping option. Eagle and Lowrance products cannot be directly exported and need to be sent to our office and shipped via a 3rd party shipper which takes about 2 weeks to arrive to you and an additional $20.00 shipping fee will be added to your order once it is shipped.

We charge you for shipping to your country you will be responsible for any duty, taxes and/or brokerage assessed by your country for import. Failure to pay such charges will result in the shipping company returning the item and all charges for return shipping will be deducted from any refund due.

Can I pay with a personal check?

Yes! Just select Sending Check from the payment options. All checks should be made out to Boatersland Marine must arrive within 1 week of your order date. Keep in mind that checks take 7-10 days to clear and your order will not ship until the check clears.

When will my credit card be charged?

It is Boatersland Marine policy is NOT to charge you for your order until the product ships. You will receive status updates that will inform you when your order has shipped, you will be charged at that time.

When should I expect delivery?

Virtually all our products leave the warehouse by the next business day after you order; many times it's faster than that. While we make every effort to ensure all items are in-stock, backorders do happen. You will be notified of any backorder ASAP. During heavy shopping seasons, it may take up to three days to leave the warehouse. After the product leaves the warehouse, standard UPS shipping times apply, which, depending on your location and the volume being handled by UPS at the time and the shipping method chosen, is from one to seven business days within the USA, longer for international shipments.

What about overnight delivery?

Overnight and second and third day shipping is available for an additional shipping charge. Simply select select Next Day Air Saver, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Select from the order page. Please note UPS does not count weekends in delivery times and none of the above shipping methods deliver on the weekend. Contact us with questions about shipping options.

What if I need warranty service?

All of our suppliers hold to the strictest standards of quality control, and all of our products are fully warranted by the manufacturer. If by chance you receive a product which is defective, the manufacturer's warranty information and service address will be clearly marked on or in the package you receive. If your product is damaged in shipping, the issue can quickly be resolved by notifying UPS. If you ever have questions not answered by the manufacturer or by UPS, click here to contact us.

How safe is my credit card information?

When you buy from Boatersland Marine, your credit card purchase is processed in real time by secure eCommerce servers. Then your order is encrypted before being sent to Boatersland Marine. Your card couldn't be safer!
