The 18-inch rods (part number TAY33018) are needed for properly using the Taylor Made Products line of Sur-Moor buoys. This hardware is made from durable hot-dipped galvanized steel, ensuring long life for the mooring rods. Specifications for the 18-inch rods are: ½ inches in diameter, four inch long swivel, two galvanized washers and a nylon core lock nut. All of Taylor Made’s buoys are hard skin construction made with a one-piece polyethylene shell and are designed withstand the constant abuse of most mooring environments.
