Details:

When sailors want quality rope for the jibsheets and mainsheets, they look to New England Ropes. The Sta-Set line of ropes is soft and flexible yet strong and durable. When you buy this rope, you are getting 600 feet of rope that is 7/16-inches in diameter. This rope weighs six pounds per 100 feet and the rope is perfect for use on boats for many reasons, including the fact that is sees very little degradation from sunlight. Polyester melts at extremely high temperatures, so melting should not be a problem, and polyester is resistant to most chemicals.
