Low V.O.C. Fiberglass No Sand Primer YPA142 is used below the waterline for priming fiberglass to eliminate the difficult job of sanding prior to painting when using Micron Optima or Fiberglass Bottomkote Aqua. It is easy to apply by brush or roller, has virtually no odor, has low V.O.C. and tools can be cleaned with water. Fiberglass mold release agent, wax and other contaminants must be removed before application of Low V.O.C. Fiberglass No Sand Primer YPA142. The use of Fiberglass Surface Prep YMA601 to remove these contaminants is extremely important if full adhesive qualities of Fiberglass No Sand Primer YPA142 are to be realized. Use underwater with water-based antifoulings only, Do not use with solvent-based antifoulings.
