In multi-battery applications the needs of individual batteries vary widely. The cranking (or starting) battery, replenished by the alternator, requires a different kind of charging than a deeply depleted trolling battery. Guest exclusively addresses these different charging demands with three-stage electronic switching technology. We provide a separate charger for cranking batteries within the same housing as the trolling charger. The independent cranking charger tops off and "floats" the starting battery, while the trolling batteries are provided full output. Our three-stage chargers have additional advantages. They are lighter than other types, completely silent, and still provide full output when poorly wired or overloaded outlets drop AC input below the normal 110-120 volts.
